Hendrasto Founder and musical director Framedrum, Darabukka, Tabla, Djembe, Talking drum, percussion Born in Surabaya, East Java in 1963 Arif is a musician and composer who has been working with music, theatre and dance for nearly 15 years. He grew up with Islamic music from his grandfather and traditional Javanese music. He played with several musicgroups before he joined Rendra's Bengkel Theatre for the production of Oidipus in 1987. In late 1987 he worked for Didi Nini Thowoks danceschool in Yogyakarta, being a member of the streetmusiciangroup KPJM at the same time. After moving to Bali in 1993, he played music for different groups including Tuju Taksu Masked Dance Theatre before he founded his own group Planet Bamboo in 1999.
