Born on 5 September 1991 in London,
England, Skandar Keynes is the great-great-great
grandson of naturalist Charles Darwin, and son of
author Randall Keynes. The name Skander is of Turkish
origin which means Alexander. Oddly enough, his
character as Edmund Pevensie in The Chronicles of
Narnia is obsessed with a delicacy called Turkish
Delight. He attended Anna Scher Theatre School in
2000 and studies tae kwon do as well.
